Modelsider, a mobile app that is loved by fashion models

Problem statement

Every fashion model begins their career by signing up with a mother agency. Around 80% of mother agencies partner with booking agencies to send models to work in different countries. However, when models travel to work with booking agencies, they often lack sufficient information and confidence in those agencies. They must rely on their mother agencies, which usually do not have accurate information about the booking agencies’ living and working conditions, yet are still willing to take the risk. This often results in models feeling frustrated and disappointed, as many booking agencies fail to meet their expectations.

User persona

Alex is a young professional model seeking ways to enhance her modeling experience. She conducts thorough research before working with a new agency but often feels frustrated by the lack of available information. Alex is eager to connect with like-minded models and those based in the area where she will be working. Sociable and friendly, she frequently uses her iPhone and is an avid Instagram user.
